Besides the breast surgery, thigh surgeries are the most common surgeries at the woman’s body because they are often recognized as being too thick and can imply the unpleasant saddle bags or cellulite or only drooping skin.
Beautiful legs are supposed to be tight and smooth, but especially due to ageing this ideal often cannot be fulfilled. On the one side, the connective tissue cannot store as many nutrients and on the other side, the skin produces less collagen and elastane resulting in a less aesthetic and tight skin. Although some care and cosmetic products can already help by providing the skin with enough fat and moisture, they are no permanent solution. In contrast, a surgery ensures a permanent result and can be carried out if the patient is strongly overweight or shows first signs of ageing. A feeling of inferiority and lacking confidence due to the physical blemish can be fought by this surgery and the patient is happy about wearing a bikini or short clothes in summer.

Thigh Lifting in Hannover in detail
A Thigh Lifting can be compared to an Upper Arm Lifting because both surgeries imply the removal of excessive skin and tightening of the remaining skin. Different methods are discussed in a personal consultation with the surgeon and the individually perfect solution is found. Among other things, it is important to consider the extent of drooping skin while planning the cuts. Usually, the cut will be set above the pubic hair border leading to the thigh-perineal line and ending in the gluteal fold. A buttock lifting can therefore be carried out in the same step. The scar will not be visible when wearing clothes.
Another possibility is C-cut, which is set in the groin area. Moreover, a T-cut is possible, which needs another cut in the inner side of the thigh. In some cases, a more extensive surgery is necessary which implies a cut from the hips region to the buttocks. Sometimes, it makes sense to combine a Inner Thigh Lifting with a Liposuction. At the end, the wound will be sewed, while the remaining skin will be tightened and the thigh will be modeled. In addition, a tight fibre layer is often used that will be sewed from the pubic bone of the fat tissue on the bone skin and ensures more stability.
Possible Complications and Aftercare
A Thigh Lifting will be carried out under general anaesthetic and implies a stationary residence of one to two days. Possibly, drainage hoses are necessary in order to drain the wound secretion. Additionally, the wound will be protected by a bandage. Moreover, the surgery leads to light pains and small bruises disappearing automatically.
A close season is important; no sports should be carried out for six weeks. Especially within the first days and weeks the patient should lie quite often and just move little. After two weeks, the usual work can be performed again, but the whole process of aftercare is completed after almost two month.
